Step 1: Make sure you follow the guidelines
To register in Arkansas you must:

be a citizen of the United States that is at least 18 years old before the next election;

live in Arkansas at the address on the Registration form;

not be a convicted felon;
-
not claim the right to vote in any other state or county;

not previously be adjudged mentally incompetent by a court of competent jurisdiction

Step 3: Verify your voter registration:

Allow two weeks for processing before inquiring about the status of your Voter Registration Application.

You may check voter registration at https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org/voterview

The last day to register to vote is Oct. 5, if mailed in the mail postmark on a mail-in application will be considered the submission date
Consider yourself registered when — and only when — you receive an acknowledgment from the Benton County Clerk. Never assume you are registered to vote until you have received this acknowledgment.
IDENTIFICATION
You will need to show ONE form of ID to vote in Arkansas:

Arkansas driver's license;

Arkansas photo identification card;

Concealed handgun carry license;

A United States passport;
-
an employee badge or identification document issued by a postsecondary education institution in the State of Arkansas;

United States military identification document;
-
Public assistance identification card if the card shows a photograph of the person to whom the document or identification card was issued;

Voter verification card.
